UCON ACROBATICS Lookbook
Concept, art direction, layout, and print production for the Autumn/Winter 19/20 lookbook of Berlin-based brand Ucon Acrobatics, created together with Studio von Monkiewitsch. Known for its minimalist, functional approach to urban mobility, Ucon Acrobatics develops bags and accessories that combine utility with a clean, contemporary aesthetic, a sensibility we translated into print.
The lookbook takes the form of a large-format newspaper that doubles as a modular object. Each folded sheet functions both as page and poster, with oversized silver typography forming autonomous graphic structures that overlay the subdued campaign imagery. The result is a tactile rhythm between image, type, and material, hyperreal yet minimal, futuristic yet grounded in craft.
As the pages unfold, the letters intersect and transform into abstract glyphs, creating new compositions that echo the brand’s link to urban visual codes and modern adaptability. The publication bridges functionality and experimentation, part catalogue, part collectible, embodying Ucon Acrobatics’ design philosophy in printed form.
