MYKITA Website
Digital overhaul of the website for Berlin-based eyewear brand and manufacturer MYKITA, known for its precision-engineered frames and contemporary design language. The new platform translates the brand’s material clarity and architectural sensibility into a calm, image-driven digital space.
MY ROLE
I contributed to the visual and interaction design, expanding the existing brand system through new interface elements and layouts. Balancing e-commerce functionality with MYKITA’s design language, I collaborated closely with developers, brand designers, and specialists to ensure consistency, usability, and visual precision across the platform.
A content-first approach guides the structure: large-scale imagery, restrained typography, and a refined grid system establish a visual rhythm that mirrors MYKITA’s balance of craft and technology. Navigation and shop architecture were rethought to create an intuitive flow from discovery to purchase, allowing the products to take centre stage from the first interaction.
The result is a seamless digital environment that feels light, tactile, and unmistakably MYKITA, where precision meets emotion, and every element, from motion to microinteraction, reflects the brand’s pursuit of modern craftsmanship.
The process centred on translating MYKITA’s design philosophy into a digital environment that feels as precise and effortless as its physical products. Early structural planning and iterative prototyping defined the architecture of the site, while a strong visual system ensured consistency across product storytelling, imagery, and e-commerce flow.
